ADDITIONAL $5,000 IN GRANT MONEY AWARDED TO RANCHO-STARBUCK

On November 18, 2009, the Board of Directors of the Lowell Joint Education Foundation voted to grant $5,000 to fund the 2009-2010 Rancho Starbuck After-School Sports Program. The Foundation is able to make this grant to the sports program as a result of its recent successful fundraising efforts at the “Tapas & Wine” event and its annual “Turkey Trot 5K.” Generous community support of these and other events has allowed the Foundation to make several recent monetary grants to the schools in the Lowell Joint School District.
